X-Ray Diffraction Unit

Summary

This year, the unit was involved in securing funding from the EU’s NextGeneration program, which resulted in a grant for an electron diffractometer. In 2022, a total of 227 samples were analyzed using the single crystal X-ray diffraction technique, and 117 CIFs were prepared for publication. Additionally, 2796 powder diffraction samples were processed during the year, including some special experiments conducted under non-ambient conditions, such as GIXRD or SAXS.
